Warning Sign 1: Sleeping Apart

Couples in a broken marriage start to gravitate away from each other. This can be a defensive mechanism to protect oneself against confrontations. If you find yourself avoiding your spouse you are really avoiding the problems that are keeping you apart in the first place.

Fixing your marriage is a process and the first step in that process is to address any issues dealing with intimacy and personal space. Divorce is about distance and sleeping apart from your spouse is the first step in that direction.

You need to ask the smaller questions, staring with this one. Sit down with your spouse, find a neutral place to talk. Be aware of the words you choose to express your concern. You know your spouses 'buttons' don't turn this into the blame game.
